I have a new short story you can read online — and it’s about superheroes! But not in the way you’d expect. *cackles*
Superhero stories are not my usual genre, but I had loads of fun writing this one!
It’s called A Night in the Life of Glassman. I wrote it for the A Day in the Life challenge hosted by the fabulous Hazel West, and you can read it today at the Tales from a Modern Bard blog!

OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS ALIVE CELTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.
That was one of the most amazing short stories I’ve ever read ever ever ever! And possibly THE best superhero story ever. IT. WAS. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! And the WRITING. The writiiiiing! It was SO good. Immersive and hilarious AND full of heart. I JUST LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT.
I left a comment over there too, but I just HAD to flail her as well because I LOVED THIS SO MUCH I CAN’T. Now I’m sad I’m finished reading it. I didn’t want it to end. I LOVE GLASSMAN. <333333333

I’m sorry I’m so late in reading this, but IT WAS SO FUN AND FASCINATINGGG!!! I absolutely love the idea of a superhero who can FIX all the messes other heroes create. And I was totally not expecting any of that backstory! <///3 (The little girl, by the way, made for one of my favorite moments.)
Also–I always love your group dynamics. These supers, the Chess Club… and the little glimpses I've had of other casts you've written. They all have such FUN interactions. Just had to let you know! ❤
