In my own little world
All my thoughts are still furled
Like a flag that has never been flown

I will place those thoughts here
In the hope that they’re clear
And if not at least they’ll be my own

Like a bird they fly free
To you all straight from me
You and I will watch life—on it goes

I will follow my road
With the words that I’ve sowed
As the wind in the trees softly blows

  1. You write poetry! Awesome. (I’m trying to remember if I knew that before?) Anyway, this is very lovely. I especially like the image of your thoughts being furled like a flag that’s never been flown.

  2. I. Love. This. So. Much. O____o It’s so… *waves hand around, trying to find the right word* I don’t knoooow. It’s gorgeous and whimsical and perfect! Our one difference, you can write poetry. That’s a talent I do not have. LOVE your poetry!

    • Awwww, thank you Lauri. ^_^ You’re always too sweet–you know that? ❤ (And I bet you could write poetry… Really.)

Oh, and I think I remember telling you about writing this poem for my blog a looong time ago. It sure took me awhile to put it up! XD
